| Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a file having such a format that it is made simple to reinspect data by allowing a user to select a key word class by selecting icon representation. SOLUTION: The graphical user interface(GUI) 60 of a visual resource file builder tool is described even in the programming language Java(R). The GUI 60 includes a tool bar 64, which includes icon representation with general functions such as 'OPEN NEW FILE' and 'CLOSE FILE' and icon representation of resource file key word elements corresponding to types of resource data that a developer possibly desires to include in a resource file. A standard text resource file normally contains data elements of the same or different types. A key word is used to define the types of the resource data and represent the different types of the data. |
