Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the performance of a water jet propulsion ship from being deteriorated by sufficiently sucking the jet water of the water jet propulsion system from a suction port even when the side slip is generated in the fuming. SOLUTION: A jet water suction port 15 of a jet propulsion system 2 of a water jet propulsion ship 1 is turned so as to be faced to the water flow direction, and for example, the side slip direction of the ship is calculated from the steering angle of a jet nozzle 5 of the jet propulsion system 2 in advance, and the jet water suction port 15 is turned to the tuning angle at which the side slip direction is calculated.
