Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to apply a half-tone screen only a whole area of an inner part of a frame by forming a frame data and a half-tone screen data having a predetermined range relating to a frame and the half-tone screen designated by a decoration means and by determining an AND of the half-tone screen data and a mask data stored in a memory means. SOLUTION: A ruled line data having a ruled line range based on a ruled line arrangement information formed for a character and a frame 60 is generated in a printing buffer 33. Mask data of a decoration frame 61 corresponding to both ends of the frame 60 read from a CG-ROM is ANDed with the half-tone screen data of the printing buffer 33 where the decoration frame 61 is disposed and what are arranged outside of the decoration frame 61 from the half-tone screen data having the half-tone screen range are eliminated from the printing buffer 33. The frame data which is formed based on the ruled line arrangement information is arranged for the half-tone screen data of the printing buffer 33, and further, a dot pattern for printing characters is arranged in the frame data of the printing buffer 33 and the content of the printing buffer 33 is printed. |
