Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and positively fit a protector that can cover the whole periphery of the lower end part of an outer tube. SOLUTION: Each outer tube 4 constituting a front fork 2 of a motorcycle has an external thread part 41 formed at the periphery of the approximately center part, and an axle bracket 6 is fixed to the external thread part 41. The axle bracket 6 has a cylindrical body 60 with an internal thread part 61 formed inside so as to be screwed with the external thread part 41 of the outer tube 4. The external thread part 41 of the outer tube 4 has an extended part 41a extended downward from a bracket fixing part 41b. A protector 7 for covering the lower end part 16 of the outer tube 4 has an internal thread part 71 formed inside an approximately cylindrical body 70 so as to be screwed with the extended part 41a of the external thread part 41 of the outer tube 4.
