Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the internal crack of a cast slab caused by bulging by dividing an auxiliary roll into at least three in the axial direction connecting to a common shaft through bushes, bringing at least one divided auxiliary roll into contact with the cast slab and bringing the other divided auxiliary rolls into contact with guide rolls. SOLUTION: The auxiliary roll 2 is divided into three and fitted to the common shaft 7 through the eccentric bushes 6. The divided auxiliary roll 5' at the central part is fitted to the common shaft 7 through the eccentric bush 6 having thick thickness at the lower part. The divided auxiliary rolls 5 at both sides are fitted to the common shaft 7 through the eccentric bush 6 having thick thickness at the upper part. The divided auxiliary rolls 5 is brought into contact with the guide roll and supported to prevent the deflection of the common shaft 7. The divided auxiliary rolls 5' at the central part is brought into contact with the cast slab to prevent the bulging of the cast slab. Even if a shell thickness is thin, the bulging can be prevented and casting rate is increased to improve the productivity. |
