Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector by which fitting to a counterpart connector can be reliably and easily performed, and half fitting can be reliably prevented. SOLUTION: In a connector 1, a cover 5 for covering the whole outer periphery except for the fitting surface of a housing 3 is slidably fitted, and a cover lock releasing rib 42 to be brought in contact with a lock releasing protrusion 26 with fitting of a counterpart connector is provided inside the cover 5. Lock grooves 5c to be locked on the counterpart connector are formed inside and on the front part of the cover 5. A lock arm 22 as a lock member in fitting is integrally provided on a partition wall 4 in the housing 3 so as to be oscillated, the lock arm is provided with a supporting part 28 to serve as a fulcrum in oscillating, and the locking part 25 to be locked on the counterpart connector, a lock releasing protrusion 26 so formed as to project to both sides, and a pressing part 29 to be operated when the locking state is released is provided on the rear end. |
