Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magneto-optical recording medium having high performance of a high S/N by providing a dielectric film with high-density regions, thereby increasing a carrier level. SOLUTION: A transparent disk-shaped substrate 1 having rugged patterns on its surface is set and the first dielectric film 2 is formed thereon. A recording film 4 is thereafter formed thereon. Next, the second dielectric film 5 is formed. A reflection film 6 is then formed. Further, a UV curing resin is formed as a protective film 7. The dielectric films 2, 5 are internally provided with one or two layers of the high-density regions 3. As a result, the magneto-optical recording medium having the high S/N is obtd. Further, the recording medium may be provided with many layers of the high-density region. |
