Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mix gas fuel satisfactorily with intake air so as to improve combustion efficiency by providing a turning flow generating element for imparting turning flow to injected gas fuel such as LPG, between an injection nozzle and the outlet of a jet passage in the structure with the jet passage formed at the internal wall of an intake passage. SOLUTION: The upper reaches of an intake passage 2 formed of an intake pipe is communicated with a surge tank 1, and the lower reaches is communicated with a combustion chamber 4. A gas fuel jet passage 5 branching off from the intake passage 2 is provided with a gas fuel injection device 6. This injection device 6 controls the opening/closing of a ball valve by controlling current application to a solenoid so as to inject gas fuel, flowing at high pressure into a fuel passage of a fuel delivery pipe 8, from an injection nozzle 14. In this case, a turning flow generating element 15 for imparting turning flow to gas fuel injected from the nozzle 14 is fittingly installed at the outlet end of the nozzle 14 and in a passage of a fit-in pipe 9. The gas fuel is thereby mixed satisfactorily with intake air.
