Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly position a decorative sheet in a mold by positioning the decorative sheet by using a protrusion of the mold, in a method wherein a molding body is produced by arranging the decorative sheet along an inner face of a mold cavity and connecting the decorative sheet to the outer face. SOLUTION: In an insert molding method, a decorative sheet is arranged along an inner face of a mold cavity 15, molds 13 and 14 are closed, and a melting resin is injected into the cavity so as to produce a molding body having the decorative sheet connected to the outer face. At the lower mold 14 where a block 57 to be conformed to an opening 56 of the decorative sheet is slidably held, a protrusion 67 is provided so as to protrude to its surface. The protrusion 67 is engaged with a slotted hole 66 of the decorative sheet and a large number of small-diameter small pins 69 are planted on the surface of the mold 14. These pins 69 are engaged with the small holes of the decorative sheet. Thus, the decorative sheet can be connected to a correct position on a molding, thereby improving mass production property. |
