Summary:PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for making sick calls which accomplishes a running at the optimum speed according to the condition of a running surface, and moreover, with excellent operability. CONSTITUTION: A control section 9 controls the speed of a motor drive part based on the condition of a running surface F detected. When detecting unevenness of the running surface F, the control section 9 controls the motor drive part to perform a low speed running. Thus, a running at a low speed is enabled without requiring any switching operation by an operator, thereby preventing troubles of parts carried.
