PURPOSE:To lock a spin-drying basket with a simple structure by inflating an air tube with air to push up a rail, pressing a support member, pressing the spin-drying basket to the inner face of the outer periphery of a rotary frame, and locking the spin-drying basket to the rotary frame in a centrifugal spin-drying machine used in a washing factory or the like. CONSTITUTION:The laundry shifted by a carry-in conveyor from the washing process is dropped and inserted into a spin-drying basket 22 via a hopper. The spin-drying basket 22 is shifted into a partition wall 21b stopped at the lower end position of a rotary frame 21 when the fork of an inserting device is inserted into an insertion space 25 and slightly lifted. The spin-drying basket 22 is pressed and locked to the sliding plate 23a of a support member 23 via a rail 24b when an air tube 24c is inflated by the air fed from an air feeder. The rotary frame 21 is rotated at a high speed by a motor while the spin-drying basket 22 is locked, and spin-drying is started.
