CONSTITUTION: A slurry contg. particles of one or more kinds of inorg. materials selected from among alumina, zirconia, aluminum silicate, mullite, zeolite, cordierite, porcelain, silicon carbide, silicon nitride and carbon and a fibrous reinforcing material of the selected inorg. materials having 0.1-1.0μm fiber diameter and 50-200μm fiber length is molded and sintered.
