Summary:PURPOSE: To provide a photographic sensitive material for a light room which has a sufficiently high contrast photographic characteristic even in processed with a developer lower than pH11.0 and is treated for a long time in the light room. CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material which has silver chloride occupying, at least, 90mol% thereof, contains water soluble rhodium salt of 1×10<-6> -2×10<-4> mol per 1mol silver halide, and which mean size of silver halide grains is 0.1μm or smaller, contains hydrazine compound and a compound expressed by the general formula. In the general formula, each of R -R and R is hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, and a heterocyclic group and it is all right if R and R , R and R , R and R , and R and R are connected and form rings respectively, each of L and L expresses an alkylene group, an allylene group, and at least two repetitive alkyleneoxy groups and (A) expresses a divalent bond group composed of atoms or an atom group selected from among hydrogen atom, carbon atom, oxygen atom, and sulfur atom and each of (m) and (n) expresses 0 or 1.
