PURPOSE: To facilitate setting of hairs without causing curls, etc., while the hairs are covered by forming a neck in the upper and the lower parts of an expansive cylinder, and fixing a stop cord to each neck removably. CONSTITUTION: This hair protection tool consists of a cylinder 1 having expansiveness, which consists of a knit. Each neck 2 is formed in the lower and the upper parts of the cylinder 1, for example by making the knit from flat knit to rubber knit. A stop cord 3 is formed so that a stop ball 3b is furnished at a resilient cord 3a of rubber, etc., in a hoop shape and fixed to the neck 2 removably. The cylinder 1 is shrunk to generate threading to the root of the bundle of hairs dangled, and then, the upper neck 2 is held and the cylinder 1 is stretched. The shape of the cylinder 1 is dressed, and the upper neck 2 is fixed by the cord 3. This structure allows the cylinder 1 to cover fully the bundle of hairs dangled to prevent slipping-off from the bundle, and it is easy to make setting of the hairs.
