PURPOSE: To inspect a door lock switch by even one man work safely by the speed reduction fixed to a riding cage or varying the cam position for working the stop switch of the lowest part or lowering a riding cage further downward than the landing of the lowest floor by adjusting an action position. CONSTITUTION: An operator 6 on the upper part 7a of a riding cage 7 pulls a lever 12 for cam moving of a cam 9 for emergency stop and can delay and work the lowest floor stop switch 10a at the middle of the cam 9b by slanting the cam position like 9b instead of the action of a lowering stop switch at the bottom A of a dotted line cam 9a. Accordingly, the operator 6 can further lower the riding cage 7 to B position of X distance 13 away from the action position of A by an operation button 11 on the cage. Therefore, the inspection and maintenance work of the door lock switch 1 of the lowest floor can be done by one operator safely.
