Abstract PURPOSE: To provide a method for returning autonomously to a normal state in the case of the occurrence of trouble by storing the execution state of each program, and judging whether it is executed normally or not in the case where a processing function is executed by calling a sub program from a main program. CONSTITUTION: This method is constituted of the processing function consisting of the main program 1 and one or plural sub programs 6, a processing function starting means 2 for starting the processing function, a program execution managing memory 3 to store the execution state of each program, a function to judge whether autonomous return to the normal execution state can be done or not, an autonomous return program 4 with a return processing function, and a display device 5 to display a message in the case where it is judged that the autonomous return cannot be done.
