Abstract PURPOSE:To improve safety by allowing the foot slip-off preventing effect to be developed in the tile laying work on the upper surface of a roof substrate material laid on a sheathing roof board, as for the roof substrate material. CONSTITUTION:As for a roof substrate material 6 which is formed by integrally joining paper sheets 8 and 9 on the upper and lower surfaces of a sheet-shaped substrate 7 made of the soft synthetic resin and is laid on the sheathing roof board, a number of slip preventing projection parts 10, 10,... whose lower part has a large diameter and upper part has a small diameter and which projects in two stages by a prescribed height are integrally formed on the upper surface of the sheet-shaped substrate 7. These slip preventing projection ports 10, 10,... are arranged so as to exist in plurality in a prescribed unit area and installed in an isotropic form on the whole surface. Accordingly, when the tile laying work is carried out on the upper surface of the roof substrate material 6 laid on the sheathing roof board, the slip preventing effect for the worker's foot is developed, and the safety in the work can be improved.
