PURPOSE: To heighten the assembling workability of an assist grip into a recession provided at an instrument panel while allowing the assist grip to be positively assembled into the recession without rotation or slip-out, and moreover prevent the fall of small articles stored in the recession. CONSTITUTION: An assist grip 2 is formed being provided with a grip part 21 laid between the lateral side walls 12 of a recession 10 provided at an instrument panel 1, and a closing wall part 22 integrally formed at the grip part 21 so as to close the rear opening part 14 of the recession 10. The grip part 21 is provided with a supporting rod 23 extended in the cross direction of a vehicle, and both end parts of the supporting rod 23 are supported between the lateral side walls 12 of the recession 10. The closing wall part 22 is provided with a locking part 24, and the locking part 24 is locked to the instrument panel 1.
