| Abstract | PURPOSE: To produce fine colored toner particles having a nerrow particle size distribution, contg. an enough colorant and capable of forming an image having high definition and sufficiently high density and to provide the method thereof. CONSTITUTION: Each resin core 3 is formed by soln. polymn. and the surface 3a of the resin core 3 is colored with a black dye or pigment. A resin layer 5 is formed around the colored resin core 3 by soln. polymn. and the surface 5a of the resin layer 5 is colored with the black dye or pigment to produce the objective colored particles 1 which are fine resin particles each having two colored layers 7. |
