PURPOSE: To improve a washing effect and to prevent irregularity in washing by washing at a water level lower than a standard water level and washing clothes on the upper side of the washing tank while pouring a liquid detergent in the middle of this washing process. CONSTITUTION: In operating a switch 3, an electromagnetic water feeding valve 22 operates to start water supply. When the supplied water level comes to a water level 26 lower than a water level 24 equivalent to a standard water quantity by two stages, a pressure sensor 27 operates and disconnects energizing to the valve 22 and to energize a motor 11 to rotate a rotary wing 9 to start washing. The wind 9 is alternately inverted to right and left by two-sec rotation and one-sec suspension, etc. The density of the detergent is higher than a standard density since the amount of washing water is smaller than the standard water quantity. When the wing 9 is rotated, washing liquid is poured to the upper center part of wash 21 from a discharging port 18 through a discharging path with the pump operation of an impeller 19 provided on the rear surface of the wing 9. Since the wash is washed in a state where the density of the detergent is higher than the standard density and washing is executed while pouring the washing liquid of a high density to the upper side of the clothes to be washed like this, thereby the washing effect is improved.
