Abstract PURPOSE:To stably test the functions of a heat sensor without depending on the change in environmental temperature. CONSTITUTION:When testing the functions of a heat sensor, a switch 11 is turned to S2 side. In this case, when the temperature characteristics of a test element 12 are equal to those of a temperature detection element 1, a potential VS at a middle point 5 when the switch 11 is set to the S2 side does not depend on environmental temperature (temperature function is canceled) and becomes a constant value. Therefore, the resistance of the test element 12 is set in advance so that the value becomes a value equivalent to a fire reporting level to test the functions of the detector. Namely, when the switch 11 is set to the S2 side, the potential VS at the middle point 5 reaches a fire alarm level without being affected by ambient temperature and a signal processing part 6 can report a mock fire occurrence to a receiver when the functions of the signal processing part 6 are normal.
