Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide a brace capable of generating reaction force efficient against force in a direction orthogonal with a pillar and beam existing surface and subrogating a part or all of roles of a stud and a weathering beam on the back of a curtain wall. CONSTITUTION:Two braces 11, 12 are arranged crosswise along two diagonal lines on a square of framework structure consisting of a pillar 1 and a beam 2. Each of the braces 11, 12 is constituted of a pair of PC steel wires 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b both ends of which are joined with pillar beam junction points 4A, 4B, 4C, 4D. The PC steel wires are made to have inclination in a direction orthogonal with a pillar and beam existing surface by bending a pair of the PC steel wires so that it forms a rhombic shape by sandwiching a PS installed hardware between these PC steel wires. Thereafter, reaction force against wind pressure working on a curtain wall 17 is generated by tensile force of the PC steel wires by way of holding a member 16 supporting the curtain wall 17 on the end part of the PS installed hardware 20. |
