Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a segment transportation device for a shield tunnel, which is efficient in conveying and unloading a plurality of segments in one operation. CONSTITUTION:In the segment conveying device which unloads segments 21 out of a segment dolly 20 at a work face in a shield tunnel, a portal dolly 1 is provided, which has a frame capable of having the segment dolly 20 loaded with the segments 21 for one ring advanced. An elavating means elevating the segments 21 is provided at both sides of the portal dolly, and a loading condition detection sensor detecting a loading condition and an elevation height detection sensor detecting the elevation height of a load are provided for the frame of the portal dolly 1. A control means 17 is also provided, which controls the elevating means based on signals from the sensors, and also sends a warning signal warning that the device is in operation, to a warning means.
