Abstract | PURPOSE:To enhance safety or the like for an airport control system by providing an airport guidance display device consuming relatively small power, ensuring long service life, requiring a less frequency of replacing, and having high performance in terms of the required lighting color characteristics of aviation green. CONSTITUTION:An airport guidance display device is constituted, using a discharge tube 2 with an aviation green emitting phosphor as a light source. In addition, a temperature control means 16 is provided for maintaining temperature in a display unit housing the discharge tube 2 within the required temperature range suitable for the lighting condition of the tube 2. |
