Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a gas-driven motor which can be smoothly rotated and used under reduced pressure and high-temperature conditions. CONSTITUTION:A rotor chamber 5 is provided in a stator 2, and a rotor 3 is rotatably arranged in the rotor chamber 5. A plurality of rotation-gas receiving recessed parts 17, 18 are provided. A floatation-gas storing chamber 6 is provided in the lower part of the rotor chamber 5 inside the stator 2. A floatation-gas blow-off port 8 for blowing off a floatation gas from the floatation-gas storing chamber 6 by opening the rotor chamber 5 is provided in the stator 2. Rotation-gas storing chambers 9, 10 are provided in the periphery of the rotor chamber 5 inside the stator 2. Rotation-gas supply opening 14, 15 for blowing off a gas supplied from the rotation-gas storing chamber 9, 10 by opening the periphery of the rotor chamber 5 are provided in the stator 2.
