Abstract PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive optical fiber line switching device which is provided with a self-holding function for holding an optical fiber line in a state obtained after switching, and whose structure is simple and miniaturized. CONSTITUTION:In this optical fiber line switching device 1, a single fiber 6 is switched and connected to an optional optical fiber 7 out of many optical fibers. The device 1 is provided with a butting member 2 where plural holding grooves 2a holding one-end sides of many optical fibers are formed and by which one end of the single fiber 6 is opposingly connected to any optical fiber 7 in the holding groove, and, a guide member 4 holding the single fiber 6, driven by an eccentric feed screw 3, moving the single fiber 6 in the arraying direction of many holding grooves by a specified length, and moving it in a direction orthogonaly crossing the arraying direction of many holding grooves.
