Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition, having a high hardness, excellent in abrasion resistance and aging resistant and breakage characteristics and low heat buildup properties and useful as industrial Trukush(R) tires, etc., by blending a specific diene-based rubber component with a filler and sulfur in a specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:This highly rigid rubber composition is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. diene-based rubber component in which a butadiene rubber containing >=5wt.% syndiotactic crystal accounts for 30-80wt.% with (B) 50-100 pts.wt. filler and (C) 1-4 pts.wt. sulfur. Furthermore, carbon black having 70-130mg/g amount of iodine adsorption and 90-140ml/100g oil absorption volume is preferably contained in an amount of >=80wt.% based on the component (B) and the composition has preferably >=15kgf/cm tensile strength M10, >=6kgf/ cm compressive elastic modulus M5, >=80 JIS A hardness measured at 20 deg.C, <=50% compression set and <=0.15 exothermic tandelta.
