Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a light receiver for surveying which has display parts on both front and back surfaces, reduces the number of parts for liquid crystal display, enables a liquid crystal display and a printed circuit board to be joined easily, and can make thin the light receiver. CONSTITUTION:Each liquid crystal display device is provided on the front and rear surfaces of a printed circuit board which is laid out horizontally within a light receiver case and a display part is formed on the front and rear surfaces of the light receiver case corresponding to the liquid crystal display device. A layout hole 31 for laying out a liquid crystal display device 40 and a terminal hole 33 are formed on a printed circuit board 30, a light emitting diode 50 is provided toward the layout hole 31, a diffusion sheet 60 with a transparent light diffusion operation is provided at both sides of the layout hole 31, and then the liquid crystal display device 40 where a terminal 42 is formed symmetrically is inserted into and fixed at the terminal hole 33 of the printed circuit board 30 via the diffusion sheet 60.
