Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce a stop shock generated by an electromagnetic brake and remove an uneasy feeling of passengers, when a safety device in an elevator is actuated. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of safety devices are classified in accordance with necessities of safety to a groupe to be suddenly stopped and another groupe to be not necessarily suddenly stopped. When a sudden stop is not required, even if the relay 20 is turned off and the contact 30a is put off, a little current decided by a resistance R is conducted in the coil 40 due to the circuit P-20b-Ta- R-40-N for the time defined by a time relay T in order to reduce the stop shock.
