Abstract PURPOSE:To always travel a self-traveling vehicle with certainty and safety by installing draw-out part feeder devices to which the power receiving device of divided rail parts can be connected in two positions for making the automatic change-over of current-carrying/no current-carrying in relation divided rail parts. CONSTITUTION:A carrier device is constituted of rails 1 where a power supply device 10 is disposed, and a self-traveling vehicle 11 which is supported and guided at the rails 1 and can travel on a loop-shaped fixed route, and is provided with a current- collecting device 29. A breaking-off rail part 1A which can be drawn out sideways is formed at a particular position of the fixed route. Besides, junction rails 42 which can be connected with the drawn-out breaking-off rails 1A are disposed. In addition, drawn-out feeder devices 60, 61 where a power receiving device mounted at part the breaking-off rail part 1A can be connected respectively are mounted at both of a position where the breaking-off rail 1A is connected with the rail and a position where it is connected with the junction rail 42. It is thus possible to keep a current-carrying condition automatically only at a connected position with the rail 1 or the junction rail 42 in taking a failed self-traveling vehicle or an unnecessary self-traveling out of the fixed route.

It is thus possible to keep a current-carrying condition automatically only at a connected position with the rail 1 or the junction rail 42 in taking a failed self-traveling vehicle or an unnecessary self-traveling out of the fixed route.
