Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the sensitivity of a blue light. CONSTITUTION:An R sensor 11 and a G sensor 12 having the same opening area are arranged alternately and repeatedly in the horizontal direction, and in parallel to this sensor train, a sensor train of a B sensor 13 is arranged. An opening area of the B sensor 13 is formed in size of two folds of the opening area of the R sensor 11, that is, the G sensor 12. According to this image pickup device 1, sensitivity of a blue light whose spectral sensitivity characteristic is low can be raised. Also, since the opening areas of the sensors 11, 12 and 13 in each train are the same, such effects as working is facilitated, etc., are obtained.
