Summary:PURPOSE:To save memory capacity and to shorten time for calculation by a geometric conversion processing part by compressing poligon data and holding it in a memory. CONSTITUTION:A geometric conversion processor 2 is provided with a flag register 25 holding flag data and a code inverting device 26 inverting the content of an input data register 21. Then, flag data in a poligon memory 1 is read and when one of flag bits Nx, Ny and Hz is standing, the piece of poligon data is normally arithmetic-processed and written in a result memory 24. After those, next poligon data is not read from the poligon memory 1, but, by the operation, the code inverting device 26 inverts the content of the input data register 21 within the geometric conversion processor to generate new poligon data to execute geometric arithmetic processing and the result is written into the result memory 24. Namely, only by reading one piece of poligon data, data for two pieces can be calculated and written into the result memory 24.
