Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a water-crosslinkable resin composition excellent in shelf stability and a crosslinked foam excellent in foaming stability, surface smoothness, dimensional stability, etc., made by using the composition. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition contains 0.01-5 pts.wt. water-absorptive high-molecular compound and a modified synthetic resin obtained by grafting or copolymerizing 100 pts.wt. synthetic resin with 0.1-5 pts.wt. silane coupling agent. This composition is foamed in the presence of a foaming agent to give a crosslinked foam.
