Abstract | PURPOSE:To provide a vibration control device and a building structure with it which can utilize vibration shut-off effect and solid propagation sound shut-off effect effectively and achieve efficient and high value-added use of space in the inside of a building. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of columns which constitute a lower body 10 which is lower than a floor panel B on which a track 2 which is a vibration generation source is composed of a double steel pipe column 16 consisting of an inner column 14 and an outer column 15. Also, the inner column 14 and the outer column 15 can move relatively in their axial direction, the floor panel B is supported by the inner column 14, a damping shoe S is provided between the floor panel B and the inner column 14, and the lower body 10 is supported by the outer column 15. Further, an upper body 11 above the floor panel B is constructed on a base which is supported by the lower body 10. |
