PURPOSE:To limit a setting area size to an irreducible minimum and to prevent the erroneous operation of a key by providing a recording/reproducing part and a keyboard part on a disk tray part retractably arranged on a main body part. CONSTITUTION:A disk tray 7 is housed in an outer casing 1 as for its housing position. At a first projecting position, only a part where a no key 8, a yes key 9 and a cursor key 10 are provided is projected and the keys 8, 9 and 10 are only made operable. At a second projecting part, all the keys including an alphabet key 12 are projected, all the keys are made operable, an upper lid part 11 is opened/closed and the loading and the changing of a disk cartridge are made possible. Thus, when the operation of the keys 8, 9 and 10 is enough, only the first projecting part is used, the mistaken operation of the key 12 is prevented and the setting area size is reduced.
