Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the subject antibody capable of detecting and determining a viral antigen in high sensitivity, accuracy and specificity and of being effectively used for the purification of the viral antigen. CONSTITUTION:This monoclonal antibody specifically binding to an epitope on the polypeptide antigen in the non-structural region NS3 of a non-A, non-B type hepatitis virus, a hybridoma producing the monoclonal antibody, and the method for measuring and purifying the viral antibody with the monoclonal antibody.
