Summary: | PURPOSE:To increase the numbers of parts, to shorten a light path and to miniaturize an optical pickup by providing a beam splitter between a flat convex lens, a flat concave lens, and a flat convex lens which collimate a laser beam. CONSTITUTION:A laser beam from a laser beam source 1 is collimated by a second flat convex lens 22, a flat concave lens 21, and a first flat convex lens 20, is made coherent flux and protected a disk plane. Reflected light from the disk plane goes back in the same light path, bent by 90 degrees by a beam splitter 5 between the lens 21 and the lens 22, separated into P-polarized light and S-polarized light by a polarization beam splitter 10, and they are made incident an optical detectors 14, 18, respectively. By using this constitution, a optical pickup in which the numbers of parts are increased and a light path is shortened and miniaturization can be realized, is obtained. |
