PURPOSE:To obtain the image forming device of a color copying machine, etc., capable of printing binary image data sent from the outside in the desired tone and density. CONSTITUTION:By LUTb (look up table) 411, multi-valued image data is processed according to density data set by an operation part. Further, by the LUTa 404, the density data set by the operation part is outputted according to the print positional information and the print color information of the binary image data. By a selector b403, any one of the multivalued data processed by the LUTb 411 and the density data outputted from the LUTa 404 is selected according to the binary image data and outputted to a printer.
