PURPOSE:To provide an electronic parts supply device for use in an electronic parts mounting apparatus, the device being capable of stably supplying electronic parts irrespective of a conveyance speed and the weight of a reel whereby there is solved a prior art problem that a carrier tape are broken at conveyance holes in it upon the taping electronic parts being conveyed in a predetermined amount owing to abrupt loading, i.e., reel rotation torque on the conveyance holes in the carrier tape. CONSTITUTION:A dancing guide 25 having a support shaft 26 is provided between a reel holding part 9 fixedly mounted on a body frame 10 and a carrier tape feeding gear 13 serving to feed taping electronic parts 5 in a predetermined amount. Prior to the taping electronic parts 5 being conveyed, the taping electronic parts 5 are fed in by a predetermined amount from the reel 6. Thereby, excessive load is prevented from exerting on the conveyance holes 4 in the carrier tape, and the taping electronic parts are stably conveyed and supplied even in the case where a supply speed is increased and a heavy weight reel is mounted.
