PURPOSE:To easily remove an unnecessary part without damaging the surface of the coated material by sticking a temporary protective adhesive film for coating and thereafter heating the unnecessary part at the melting teperature or above of the film, cutting the unnecessary part, sucking and removing the cut part. CONSTITUTION:A temporary protective adhesive film (d) for coating is stuck to the coated outside plate (b) of an automobile and a washer nozzle part (c). The film (d) is pushed by a roller or the like and stuck in a tent-shape. Then the unnecessary part (h) of the film (d) is heated at the melting temperature or above by a ringlike cutter (f), a bandlike heater (g) and a pressing matter (e) and cut by a cutting edge (f). The unnecessary part is sucked and removed. The adhesive film (d) is formed of base material such as paper and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer of vinyl-based resin or the like.
