Summary:PURPOSE:To construct an air duct in a manner not to impede a bumper reinforcement from making an elastical backward movement at the time of a slight collision by mounting on a cross member an air guide member for forming an air duct behind an intake to take in outside air. CONSTITUTION:Due to an air guide 8 being secured to a cross member 5, an air duct 11 is formed behind an outside air intake 7 provided on a bumper 1. Outside air taken in through the intake 7 is supplied to the front of a radiator through the air duct 11 provided between two sheets of horizontal plate portions 8c, 8d, which is the air guide 8 equipped at the top and the bottom with some interval. A front bridge of a horizontal plate portion 8b on the front side of the air guide member 8 is stuck on a partition wall 3c in a recess portion 4 of a bumper reinforcement 3 through a sealing material 10 and due to the existance of a distance D between the front edge of the horizontal plate portion 8b and the front end of the recessed portion 4, the horizontal plate portion 8b enters into the recess portion 4 and causes no impediment when the bumper 1 tries to move back at the time of a slight collision.
