Abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain the coordinate position input device to prevent circuit malfunction caused by static electricity among the coordinate position input devices used as the peripheral equipments of information equipments such as personal computers or word processors CONSTITUTION:A ball 12 is held to a shaft 8 of a fitting base 7 so as to be freely rotated, and a case 14 equipped with a hole, where one part of this ball 12 is protruded, is fitted to the fitting base 7. By mounting an electrostatic sheet 13 onto the inner wall of this case 14, static electricity is discharged from the electrostatic sheet through a conductive spring to a GND pattern 17 on a printed circuit board 15 so as to prevent the circuit malfunction caused by static electricity. |
