Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain the utilizing device for optical element array which is compact and can obtain high resolution. CONSTITUTION:Plural optical element arrays PEA 1 and PEA 2 linearly arranging a lot of optical elements are parallelly arranged with a space having relation with a space between respective optical elements. The parallelly arranged plural optical element arrays PEA 1 and PEA 2 are serially used on a time base, and a prescribed hourly signal processing is executed to signals to drive the respective optical elements in the plural optical element arrays PEA 1 and PEA 2 so that the resolution equivalent to the resolution obtained in the case of linearly arranging all the optical element arrays PEA 1 and PEA 2 can be obtained by the optical elements in the spatially parallelly arranged plural optical element arrays PEA 1 and PEA 2.
