PURPOSE:To realize the imprinting of a new mark without providing a special film imprinting means in a camera by providing a data selection means and a writing means in the camera and providing a specified printing means in an apparatus on a laboratory side. CONSTITUTION:The data selection means 53 which selects the printing of the mark (for example, the character of a comic picture or the picture of a flower or an animal) and the writing means 52 which writes the number of selected data on a film are provided in the camera. Then, the mark printing means 58 which executes the printing according to the number written on the film is provided in the apparatus on the laboratory (developing) side. Thus, the new imprinting of the film which cannot be realized by the camera alone is realized without providing the special film imprinting means in the camera. Besides, since the storage content of the camera is not necessitated so much and the data written in the magnetic storage part 55 of the film is little, a system for obtaining the camera and the film having the low occurring frequency of a writing/reading error can be obtained.
