Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the hardware quantity by carrying out the transfer of data after setting the contents of each pointer related to other processing when another transfer of data is carried out in a data transfer state. CONSTITUTION:The transfer data are recorded to a buffer 1 and the data store state of the buffer 1 is displayed on a queue buffer 2. When another data transfer is carried out in a data transfer state, the states of a queue input pointer 3, a queue output pointer 4, a transmission signal input pointer 5, and a transmission signal read pointer 6 are saved into each saving memory. Then the contents of pointers 3 - 6 are set for another data transfer, and this transfer of data is carried out. When this processing is over, the saved contents of each pointer are restored and the precedent processing is carried on successively. Therefore both command and answer transmission buffers are not needed when another command is received and an answer is transmitted in a state where the answer is waited to the command. Thus the number of buffers is decreased and a hardware scale is also reduced.
