Abstract | PURPOSE:To produce a concrete admixture capable of giving concrete having high strength and good fluidity by heating coal ash with an ultra-high temperature furnace, cooling and condensing the generated vapor to form ultra-fine SiO2 powder and mixing the powder with a slag produced by cooling and crushing molten slag deposited on the furnace bottom. CONSTITUTION:The objective apparatus is provided with an ultra-high temperature furnace 2 to heat coal sash 1 at an ultra-high temperature to generate the vapor of SiO2 and SiO; a collecting apparatus 5 to cool and condense 4 the above vapor generated in the ultra-high temperature furnace 2 and collect the formed ultra-fine SiO2 particles; a cooling and collecting tank 3 to cool and collect molten slag generated in the ultra-high temperature furnace 2; a pulverizer 12 to pulverize the slag collected in the cooling and collecting tank 3; and a mixer 16 for mixing the above collected ultra-fine SiO2 particles 9 and the slag 14 crushed by a fine crusher 12.
