Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent the increase in weight and size of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission when a wrapping member is laid between transmission units every transmission unit so that a pair of rollers can be synchronously tilted even in the case where an abnormality is generated in a hydraulic system for tilting the rollers disposed between a pair of input and output disks. CONSTITUTION:First and second wires 52, 53 are laid cross every pair of first and second tranions 45a, 45b rotatably supporting rollers 35, 35 in first and second transmission units 31, 32, respectively. A third wire 55 is laid between the first and second tranions 45a, 45b. |
