Abstract PURPOSE:To improve a trigger system suitable for the synchronous operation of plural measuring instruments by providing a multiplexer and 1st and 2nd synchronizing circuits and selecting a trigger outputted from the 1st synchronizing circuit when the mode is set to the master mode and selecting an external trigger inputted to the 1st synchronizing circuit when the mode is set to the slave mode. CONSTITUTION:An internal trigger and an external trigger are inputted to the 1st synchronizing circuit 5 via an OR gate 6 and the triggers are outputted to an output terminal 9 and a multiplexer 10 synchronously with a clock signal. The multiplexer 10 selects the trigger outputted from the 1st synchronizing circuit 5 when the mode is set to the master mode and outputs its output to a 2nd synchronizing circuit 11 and the multiplexer 10 selects the external trigger inputted to the 1st synchronizing circuit 5 when the mode is set to the slave mode and gives its output to the 2nd synchronizing circuit 11. Thus, the deviation in the trigger operation is hourly improved in the case of synchronous operation of plural measuring instruments.
