Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the consistency, fluidity and segregation resistance of a cement composition by incorporating a specified copolycondensation product of aminobenzenesulfonic acid, phenol and formaldehyde and a nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether into the admixture. CONSTITUTION:From 0.8 to 1.2mols of a compd. shown by formula I (X is H or alkali metals), 0.8-2.0mols of a compd. shown by formula II and 1-3mols of formaldehyde are polymerized in the presence of an alkali catalyst to obtain the copolycondensation product (A) of aminobenzenesulfonic acid, phenol and formaldehyde. Subsequently, 100 pts.wt. of the component A and 5-50 pts.wt. of (B) a nonionic water-soluble cellulose ether (e.g. methylcellulose) are mixed to obtain a self-filling cement admixture. The admixture contg. 0.1-5 pts.wt. of the component A and 0.01-3 pts.wt. of the component B is added to 100 pts.wt. of cement.
