Abstract | PURPOSE:To improve foamability by incorporating a specified amt. of P or a P compd. and specifying the bulk density. CONSTITUTION:Viscosity controlling limestone is added to the ash having a specified content of P or a P compd. and obtained by burning sewage sludge, and the mixture is melted by an electric furnace. The molten slag 2 is dripped into a water tank 5 set below a tundish 1 through the tundish 1 having a specified hole diameter. The water tank 5 is always agitated by an agitator 4 to granulate the molten slag 2 dripped as a droplet current 3, and a granular foamed slag contg. 3-20wt.% of P or a P compd. and having 0.2-1.0 bulk density is obtained. |
